It all started with jam. Crazy but true!

I was at a business workshop where a couple of lovely non-techie’s mentioned that their jam business needed a website and they didn’t know where to start. It got me thinking about how daunting creating a website can be; especially when tech isn’t your thing (you don’t know your SEO from your DNS), or you just don’t have the time or patience to get online quickly without feeling overwhelmed.

I’m here to help those solopreneurs and small business owners; those of you who are just starting out, or have been around for a while, and need relatable guidance without all the bells, whistles & “must-haves” that you’ve been told you need. The Journey 

THE BEGINNING

Working in the Advertising & Marketing industry for many years gave me an insight into the wonderful world of creatives. About 9 years ago I went on to found my freelancing company, taking on more analytical tasks, and while assisting a client to revamp their existing website, I got hooked on this side of the digital world.

AND NOW

After helping more clients set up simple websites and CRM systems, I decided it was time to follow this path and help other solopreneurs and small businesses get unmazed in this truly productive and responsive online world…exciting stuff people!

WHY IS YOUR PRICING SO LOW COMPARED TO OTHER COMPANIES?

I get asked this a lot, and it really comes down to this…I used to be in the situation of not knowing my SEO from my DNS and it’s not a nice position to be in. A lot of companies take advantage of this, and since I’ve been on the customer side I thought I could bring it back to super simple - for those of you who only need that. If you’re after something more than I provide, then I’m sure you’ll be able to find a company who can help give you with all the bells & whistles you feel you need.

DO YOU WORK WITH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS?

The easy answer is yes. There are advantages to both when it comes to those crazy (time-travelling, as we say in our family) time zones, so no doubt we can work around anything if both parties are committed to making it work via the wonderful world of tech.

WHY DO YOU USE ONLY ONE PARTICULAR PLATFORM TO CREATE EACH WEBSITE?

I think it’s the best platform for any solopreneur or small business. It’s functional yet stylish, and is simple enough for even the most non-techie person to edit the content on their new site without me.

how long will it take from start to finish to get my WEBSITE online?

Less than a month as long as you’ve sorted everything you need prior to me starting on the layout etc. To be able to provide you with super affordable packages, the process I follow is simple & smooth as long as we’re both on board. I’ve created a simple “homework” questionnaire that you’ll need to complete to let me know the ins + outs of what you’re after, so once we’ve got a plan for the content + layout, I’m away!

No one size fits all when it comes to websites, but because I want to make the process as simple as possible for both parties, I have a couple of questionnaires that you’ll need to answer in order for us to a) know we’re a good fit to work together & accomplish a fantastic end result, and b) for both parties to get a clear vision of what you’re looking for in a website. Both questionnaires have been tailored to clarify the path your site will take, which makes turnaround fairly fast.
